File Commander 1.0 allows you to change the file name, creator code, and file type of any (visible) file. That's all. Nothing else.
The program SHOULD work on just about any Mac, running just about any System version. If I'm wrong, please drop me a line and let me know--I'll fix it.
I wrote such a simple program for two reasons:
1. Using a small program like this one is a quick, easy way to change file data, as opposed to using bulkyr applications like ResEdit or MacTools.
2. I like writing freeware. (!)
FILE COMMANDER 1.0 was written using THINK Pascal 4.0 on a Mac LC running System 7.0. The source code is mostly an extracted version of a "program base" I wrote, very similar to an object class. (Though not run entirely with objects, it uses objects extensively.) If anyone wants more info, please drop me a line.
